The Tour: Have you ever dreamed of viewing lions, elephants, leopard and rhino in Africa? Here is your chance to live your African dream! Jump on our daily return shuttle from Windhoek to Etosha. Stay in our tented camp in Okaukuejo in the Etosha National Park on a dinner, bed and brunch basis. Spend the afternoon and morning enjoying a game drive in our open safari vehicles.
Catch our daily early morning shuttle from Windhoek to Okaukeujo camp in Etosha National Park. Upon your arrival meet your guide and settle into your tented camp and enjoy a refreshment. We use 2-man safari dome tents with stretchers, mattresses and bedding. Get the feel of the camp, explore the surroundings, relax over some lunch or cool down with a swim in the sparkling pool. Then spend an exiting afternoon game viewing in our open safari vehicle. Transverse between watering holes and skim around the pan as you try to spot the Big 5 and more-Photo OP’s are guaranteed!
Your knowledgeable guide will regale you with some history of the park and will translate the signs of the wild for you. You will be back in camp in time to witness a typically spectacular Namibian sunset while enjoying a sundowner around our famous watering hole. After a traditional braai(“bbq”) fall asleep to the sounds of the African bush. Wake before sunrise to coffee and rusks and spend the morning game drive viewing, after which you will be returned to camp around 10am for a hearty breakfast. Then return to Windhoek on our afternoon shuttle-We’re happy to drop you off at any address within Windhoek. Alternatively add 1, 2 or more days to your safari and get the full feel of Africa and it’s wildlife.

General Info
Our shuttle, which is included in the rates, departs Windhoek and returns every day from the 1st of June to 31st September 2018.
Our camp is situated at Okakeujo Camp, the most sought after and popular accommodation site in the Etosha National Park, and will be there permanently from 1st June to 31st September 2018. You will be accommodated in 2-man dome tents in which comfortable stretchers and clean bedding is provided. There are tables and chairs around the camp fire and you will be within close walking distance to the bathroom facilities.
The camp has a shop where you can buy your own drinks and we have a small fridge on site in which you can keep them cold.

2 nights 3 days – Arrival day, full day and departure day
3 nights 4 days – Arrival day, 2 x full days and departure day
4 nights 5 days – Arrival day, 3 x full days and departure day

Arrival Day
Get picked up at your accommodation in Windhoek. Drive via the towns of Okahandja, Otjiwarongo and Outjo to Anderson Gate at Etosha National Park. You will be dropped off at Okaukuejo Camp around 11 a.m. and have a few hours free to orientate yourself with your surroundings. Settle into your tent and perhaps have a swim or have a look what animals you can spot at the watering hole. From 2 p.m. to sunset you will enjoy a magical game drive in our open safari vehicle.
After arriving back at camp at sunset, enjoy a sundowner around the watering hole and perhaps see one of Africa’s Big 5. At 7:30 p.m. enjoy a traditional braai (BBQ) and chat with your fellow travelers about the afternoons sightings. Overnight in our comfy tented camp and dream of what you would like to see tomorrow.
Full Day
Wake up early to hot coffee and tea and prepare for the morning’s game drive. Traverse between watering holes looking for game. Your guide will translate the signs of the wild for you and view the wide variety of fauna and flora Etosha has to offer. Arrive back at camp around 10 a.m. to enjoy a well-deserved hearty brunch (combination of breakfast and lunch). Until 2 p.m. enjoy the swimming pool, climb the tower for the lookout, shower, sit around the watering hole or just relax until the afternoon game drive.
At 2 p.m. meet at Wild Cherry Adventure’s camp for the afternoon drive where you will skim around the pan keeping an eye out for Africa’s famous Big 5. Every day we take a different route. Your guide will find out from colleagues what they have seen and check the sightings board to optimize your chances of exciting sightings.
Arrive back at camp at sunset where you can watch the sun set over the famous Okakeujo watering hole. Dinner is at 7:30 p.m. where you will enjoy a traditional braai (BBQ) and chat about the day’s sightings. Fall asleep to the sounds of Africa.
Departure Day
Get woken by your guide with coffee and rusks before preparing for your morning drive. Enjoy a game drive until 10 a.m. where you will hopefully tick off the last of your must-see list in this premiere national park.
After a delicious brunch you will have time to shower and pack your belongings. Perhaps have a look at the curio shop and take home a memento of your safari experience.
At 1 p.m. depart Okaukeujo and return to Windhoek around 7 p.m. where you will be dropped off at any accommodation in Windhoek.

Departure Times: Pick up is from 6 a.m. daily. Client to PLEASE let us know the exact point of pick up.
Drop-off Time: We leave Etosha at 1 p.m. and should be back in Windhoek around 7 p.m.
Dress: Winter: warm clothes; Summer: light clothes. Hat, sunblock, swimming costume, towel.
Fitness Level: Please let us know before booking if you have any allergies or health issues.
Pack: Hat, sunblock, water, snacks, binoculars, camera, swimming costume, towel.
Drinks: No drinks of any kind are provided. You can bring your own drinks, buy from the camp shop or bar.
Bedding is included but water, drinks and items of a personal nature are not included.
