Chad from Wild Cherry Adventures took myself and five friends on a tiger fishing trip through the Caprivi Stip on the Zambezi river to Chobe. Awesome holiday with good friends. Chad certainly knows his stuff, from booking our trip, to transport, to accommodation and to his wealth of knowledge on anything to everything.

I have been on two previous personalised off the beaten track trips with Chad through Namibia, and absolutely enjoyed them. My future getaways to Namibia will always be booked with Chad, he is very professional and easy going.

Keep up the excellent work Chad. Looking forward to the next Namibian adventure!

My father and I had an absolute blast experiencing Namibia with Wild Cherry Adventures. What a great experience we had! Not only because of the stunning landscapes, amazing animals and very hot
weather, but mainly because of the amazing host.

We got loads of information, great food, do try the local sandwiches, it’s a must according to Chad. We also had lots of laughs, all thanks to him! We even experienced rain and they say it never rains in Namibia.

Don’t miss the opportunity, grab it with both hands and join the fun with Wild Cherry Adventures.

A wonderful experience with an amazing guide and friend.

We went for both a 4 days tour in Etosha and a 3 days tour in Sossusvlei with Wild Cherry Adventures.

What a great experience we had! Not only because of the stunning landscapes, amazing animals and very good facilities provided, but mainly because of our exceptional guide John!

We got heaps of information, great food (that man can cook!) and lots of fun, all thanks to him! Even though we had some rain, the experience was still great! All comfort was perfectly provided as well.

Don’t doubt to experience this adventure and go for it with Wild Cherry Adventures. You will not regret it!

My experience was amazing, I saw what I always wanted to see. The activities were fun, I like going for long drives. I loved the food, I would rather have this food than the food in England, the meat is too dry in England. David is a really good and Marvin. If they lived in the UK they should have their own restaurant.

John is like Kevin Hart, so funny, has good knowledge (loves his birds). Charlie is a lovely driver.

Loved having beds and dunes, the car was open and you could see everything. David was an excellent cook.

Marvin & John were brilliant. Marvin knew a lot of facts about the animals, he was always keen to answer any questions. John was very friendly and funny and also knew alot about the animals, especially the birds.

Thank you for the great time!

It’s been an amazing experience to visit, there are a variety of visits to see and I was satisfied with your tours. The vehicles were clean. I hope to cook some of the meals that were cooked for me, the meals were very delicious.

Our driver was an expert all the info of the animals and tours, I highly recommend Wild Cherry Adventures to everyone. Thank you for your kindness.

Amazing! Thank you, Chad!

Three of us, myself and my teenagers 13 and 19 yo had an awesome trip to Sossusvlei and Etosha National Park on safari.

Chad was awesome, as organiser and guide. He could not have been more helpful in organising a custom made tour built around our needs and requirements, and his knowledge of the area and wildlife was amazing!

Chadman, thanks for a great holiday. My 2 kids are pretty sophisticated travellers but found the whole trip mind blowing. For myself it was great having you take care of the big and the little things. Arriving somewhere and going off to the pool to return to tents up, beer cold, and your ledgendary nightly braies made the whole thing so relaxing for me too.

We have no hesitation in recommending Chad and Wild Cherry to anyone. They are organised, return emails within 24 hours and spare no detail in making your tour a happy one.

Thanks again

Hello Chadman !

So now we have been home a week, and you are probably in the final stages of your long walk. Hopefully you had a great time with your mates, your dog managed the trip in the vehicle, your head is clear and your senses sharpened.

I wanted to thank you Chad for the great experience we had with you. You are obviously at a point of change in things, but given this is a business address I’ll say no more, except good luck with the changes.

Ben, Nina and I had an awesome time with you, great commentary, great chat, safe driving and really well looked after at the camping spots. I don’t think the kids will every forget the holiday, so thanks for that. You got us around in a really easy way, anticipated glitches and sorted us out 100%.

I just Facetimed Ben, and he said thanks, and that he appreciated that you really knew what you were talking about with the nature stuff. Nina is off at cheerleading so can’t say G’day.

Thanks again, Chad. Good luck with everything

I will simply say that my trip with Wild Cherry Adventures was outstanding. It was more than a dream come true; it was like a dream that was occurring in front of me.

Chad seemed to have the magic touch, because we managed to see all the animals we could have expected and some we didn’t. He was patient, helpful and was a really good listener. He truly loves this country and this geography; as he said, Namibia makes sense to him, and that realization really enhanced the tour. He loved seeing these wonders unfold as much as we did.

Desmond was awesome. He remained in the camp, prepared the meals and the sleeping arrangements, and had wonderful localized advice. If there was a mysterious noise in the middle of the night, he would tell you exactly what it was in the morning. I really liked him, and was invaluable to our experience.

The park was both expansive and compact. I will explain. The permanent campground (Wild Cherry is the only tour company that offers this) is surrounded with everything one would need. A charging station for your camera batteries and electronics. A food vendor, bathroom facilities, a restaurant, and for the hotter afternoons a swimming pool. But for me what made the location incredible, were the vantage points at perimeter of the camp. Firstly, at the southwest corner of the camp is a hidden and unmarked observational gem. Basically you are standing in shaded bush, but you can watch very closely as all the animals pass only metres in front of you on their way to the water hole. If you are patient and quiet, they won’t even notice you. Of course, the Water Hole is a sight too. At any given moment, 24 hours a day, you will see a parade of coexisting animals quenching their thirst. The elephants were the big showboats, and the rhinos seemed to be nocturnal.

So that is the element of the ‘Etosha Dream’ that is in your control. Once you get in the back of the truck, Chad had a pretty instinctual sense of where to go. A viewing platform above the truck sits nine people, and comes with comfortable seating and blankets for the cold mornings (we went in August). The roads wind endlessly through the massive park, and from your vantage point you can observe from higher up. This allows you to see giraffes poke their heads up curiously, and Gnus, Zebras, Impala, and Springboks weaving through the landscape.

With Wild Cherry’s 3D/2N tour you get to have two morning and two evening game rides. We seemed to see more animals in the evening, but our rarer sightings (lions, hyenas, and leopards) were all in the morning. And in between, the water hole is always at your disposal in camp. Basically, if you really wanted to, you could be observing animals 24 hours a day. Just don’t miss Desmond’s meals. He has mastered hearty food on the barbecue.

My experience with Wild Cherry was wonderful. Things were done at a very comfortable pace and the itinerary was ideal. Etosha is a quiet and epic place, and the employees at this company embrace that spirit on the game rides. A little information is given, but there is a joy in the quiet wonder shared by everyone. Chad, Sedney, and Desmond really want you to enjoy your experience. And with Chad at the wheel you are going to find unbelievable moments.

I had an unforgettable experience. I will be sure to recommend Wild Cherry if any friends or family end up in Namibia.

We found Wild Cherry Adventures by coincidence and guess what, best coincidence ever! From the very beginning of our trip these guys were extremely supportive and provided us with everything what we needed for our tailor made tour. We had booked our flight tickets just 2 weeks before we came to Windhoek and during this time, because of Chad’s help, we managed to apply for a visa and received it without any problem.

After we had arrived everything was on time. Chad picked us from the airport, took us to his guesthouse (Cardboard Box Hostel, Windhoek) for a quick shower and then we started our tour to Sossusvlei, Swakopmund, Brandberg and Etosha National Park.

Quite long drive in short time, but Chad did everything to make it nice and easy. All campsites that we slept on were very good or even spectacular (Etosha NP). Food was quite basic for breakfast and lunch, but food from bush fire made by Chad for a dinner, OMG. We ended our tour with Chad in Etosha NP where Sedney was our guide. We liked him from the beginning because this is the kind of guy who cannot be disliked. Seriously.

Furthermore, everyday we saw rhinos and lions (even fighting with each other), because he knows this part of Etosha very well. We can see that these guys work really hard to give you the best product for this amount of money. For all of these reasons I give them 5 stars and wish them good luck in this business.
